For more than five decades, Anne B. Young, MD, PhD, has been a pioneering neurologist, neuroscientist, and leader in academic medicine, serving for 21 years as Chief of Neurology Service at Massachusetts General Hospital and Julieanne Dorn Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Young’s research has focused on neurotransmitter systems in the basal ganglia of Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease brains. Her memoir was just published with Cambridge University Press.

Please join us for a conversation—moderated by Dr. Alice Flaherty—to hear about Dr. Young’s remarkable journey, her impact on neurology and neuroscience, and her reflections and advice for those forging their own paths in medicine and science.
