She is a contributing columnist at </span><em><span>The Atlantic</span></em><span> magazine and was the 2020 winner of the Library of Congress' Kluge Prize. Her many books also include the widely acclaimed </span><em><span>Our Declaration: a reading of the Declaration of Independence in defense of equality</span></em><span>; Cuz: T</span><em><span>he Life and Times of Michael A.; Democracy in the Time of Coronavirus</span></em><span>; and </span><em><span>Justice by Means of Democracy</span></em><span>. Her forthcoming book, </span><em><span>The Radical Duke</span></em><span>, is due out with Liveright/Norton in 2026.</span></p><p><span><strong>About the Howard, Dorsey, Still Lecture</strong>:</span></p><p><span>The Howard, Dorsey, Still Lecture is named for the first three African-Americans who graduated from Harvard Medical School: Edwin Clarence Joseph Turpin Howard, MD, Class of 1869, Thomas Graham Dorsey, MD, Class of 1869, and James Thomas Still, MD, Class of 1871.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="12bd1248-a612-48f6-8850-1820cd5eef4f" data-view-mode="hwp_medium">&nbsp;</drupal-media>
