Pablo da Silva, MD, MPH most recently completed a palliative care fellowship with the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship, where he served as a class representative for the fellows and completed both the Health Equity Track and the Global Palliative Educational Collaborative Track. He received the MGH Global Health Community Engagement Award to travel to Chile, where he collaborated with local palliative care providers and delivered a department-wide presentation in Spanish based on a grand rounds he had originally delivered at Harvard, entitled “Increasing Equitable Access to High Quality Palliative Care for All.” He received his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Kean University, graduating summa cum laude. He attended medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, where he earned a dual MD/MPH degree with a focus on Global Health Equity. His capstone project investigated the relationship between intimate partner violence and HIV prevalence in Zimbabwean women. During his medical education, he was awarded the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and developed a mentorship program for community college students from disadvantaged backgrounds interested in healthcare careers. He completed a Family Medicine Residency at the Northwestern McGaw Family Medicine Residency at Lake Forest where he served as the resident president elect for the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians. Additionally, he was one of four physicians nationally selected for the American Academy of Family Physicians' Health Equity Fellowship. He has presented at local and national conferences on increasing equitable care to vulnerable populations and expanding opportunities in medicine for underserved students. He is interested in improving access to high-quality health services in underresourced communities, both in the US and abroad, through policy and clinical practice.

Marcos A. Moreno, MD most recently served as Chief Resident and Public Psychiatry Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University. His clinical interests include trauma disorders, integrative medicine, and addiction medicine. A member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and a former National Health Service Corps Scholar, Dr. Moreno is dedicated to advancing health equity in underserved and Indigenous communities.

He has led community-based behavioral health initiatives and conducted research on mental health and addiction treatment for Native populations. He has been awarded several nationally prestigious fellowships, including the APA-SAMHSA Fellowship, the Ginsburg Fellowship through the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry, and the Climate &amp; Health Equity Fellowship. As part of his APA-SAMHSA Fellowship, he secured funding to pilot a project improving behavioral health retention and engagement on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation.

His policy and advocacy work is reflected in his publications on addiction, environmental health outcomes, and Indigenous health disparities. His work has been featured in The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, Psychiatric Services, and a United Nations-sponsored volume. Dr. Moreno also serves as a board member for the University of Arizona Center for Native American Health. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and his Doctor of Medicine from UND-School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Meron Teklu, MD is a dual internal medicine and dermatology resident at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency and Brigham and Women’s Hospital Internal Medicine Residency. She earned her MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where she graduated Cum Laude in Scientia Experimentali and was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. While in medical school, she studied cardiovascular disease risk factors at the National Institutes of Health through the Medical Research Scholars Program. Dr. Teklu is a current Commonwealth Fund Fellow through the Health Policy and Leadership Track of the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency. Dr. Teklu is interested in policies surrounding medication price transparency and prescription drug costs and is passionate about equitable access to medical care. She has served on the leadership board of several free clinics, is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology Congressional Policy Committee, and currently serves as a resident leader for Our Patients Our Clients, an organization that partners internal medicine residents with Massachusetts public defenders to prepare medical affidavits for individuals in the carceral system.

Diana Rubio, MD, is a first-generation Latina family physician committed to advancing health equity through patient care, health policy research, and advocacy. She is passionate about leveraging systemic policy change to improve population health, particularly for Spanish-speaking communities. Dr. Rubio completed her family medicine residency at MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center in 2024 and subsequently transitioned into the Robert L. Phillips Jr. Health Policy Fellowship at the Robert Graham Center for Policy Studies in Family Medicine and Primary Care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. During residency, she was appointed by the Association of Departments of Family Medicine to represent family medicine in the AAMC Organization of Resident Representatives (ORR), later serving as ORR Chair and liaison to the AAMC Group on Diversity and Inclusion. In recognition of her leadership and advocacy, she was named a 2025 National Minority Quality Forum 40 Under 40 Leader in Health.

Aurelie Tran, MD is a general surgery resident physician at Brigham &amp; Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. The child of Vietnamese refugees, Dr. Tran developed a deep conviction for empathy and advocacy at a young age. As a physician interested in health advocacy, Dr. Tran has an abiding interest and demonstrated commitment to serving unhoused youth and surgical patients experiencing homelessness. She previously served as Youth/LGBTQ+ Clinic Director, Advocacy Taskforce Leader of the Suitcase Clinic, a youth homeless shelter in Berkeley, CA. During medical school, she served as Director of the University of Michigan Student-Run Free Clinic. Dr. Tran received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School.
