**What inspires or motivates you in your role at HMS/HSDM?**
It is the community here that continues to inspire me. I am constantly surrounded by extremely motivated and hardworking peers and mentors who work tirelessly to make the world a better place. I feel welcomed in flaunting my ignorance, knowing that those around me will be supportive and help me grow.

**What are you most proud of about your work at HMS/HSDM?**
I would have to say that I am most proud of the relationships that I have fostered here. Through my scientific collaborations, and my work with peers on a high-school outreach program called HPREP. I have met some of the most talented and wholesome people in the world, and have had the immense privilege of calling them my friends.

**What is the significance of the object you brought with you to the photo shoot?**
I chose to bring a letter from my sister that I always carry with me. My sister Reina, is 3 years younger than me, and has an undiagnosed learning disability. Reina is the most candid, and innocent being know, and she is the person I love most in this world.
I stayed in Arizona for my undergraduate work to stay close with Reina, and when presented with the opportunity to go to Harvard, I had a really tough decision to make. My family and mentors assured me that I needed to go and pursue this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I carry this letter with me as a constant reminder of my sister and our connection. It reminds me that if am going to be on the other side of the country I better be making the most of this opportunity and the resources that are uniquely available to me here. My sister has always been a source of support and love when I was in Arizona, and she continues to be even when she is thousands of miles away. Thus, I dedicate all my work here to my sister Reina.
