**What is the significance of the outfit you are wearing in the photo shoot?**
A garment of praise, glory and honor. That is one scriptural definition of the attire I am wearing. The robe and underlying dress are a liturgical dance garment, formal attire worn while interpreting the liturgy (the gospel of Jesus Christ) through movement. All forms of dance can be incorporated in liturgical dance, including, ballet, African, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip hop, or other forms.

Liturgical dance is used when interpreting the word of God through song, scripture, prayer, sermons, and poetry, all while worshiping the LORD and sharing His message of hope, faith, love, and justice.

**Are there activities outside of your job at Harvard that you feel enrich or inform who you are as an individual at Harvard?**
The foundational pillars of my life - Faith, Family, Service, Justice - shape every part of who I am, wherever I am. My faith and family are the bedrock that grounds me, centers me, and compels me to move forward with purpose. My deep commitment to serve others and advocate for justice and equity fuels my actions both at Harvard and beyond.

My engagement in community service, whether local, regional, and global speaks to the heart of who I am. Through an organization I founded and lead, Living Water Outreach for Girls, I have the opportunity to blend faith, service, dance and global citizenship, while teaching and mentoring girls ages 9-16. We minister through dance and acts of service in a variety of settings including children's homes, homeless shelters, nursing homes, food pantries, and to veterans, and incarcerated women locally, as well as to youth and families in Kenya and South Africa.

These key convictions align with parts of the HMS mission, to alleviate suffering and improve health and well-being for all through excellence in teaching and learning, discovery and scholarship, and service and leadership.
