**What inspires or motivates you in your role at HMS?**
I am inspired by focusing on excellence in my clinical work and research, trying to serve others and trying to help others. In pediatric neuroradiology there is an opportunity to consult with other physicians and to help children through a collaborative approach Expertise in the imaging of normal brain and spine development and maturation as well as knowledge of numerous neurologic diseases affecting the fetus, newborn, child and adolescent is required.

**What are you most proud of about your work at HMS?**
I am most proud of my regional and national reputation as an expert in neuro-oncologic imaging in children. In my role as Principal Investigator, my imaging research focuses on the neuroimaging evaluation and assessment of new therapies for primary central nervous system tumors in childhood patients. I also serve as the Director of the Neuroimaging Center for the NIH-funded Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium which influences disease management and works toward affecting patient outcomes.
