Commonwealth Fund Fellowship 30th Anniversary
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Commonwealth Fund Fellowship (CFF) in Health Policy Leadership at Harvard University. To celebrate 30 years of developing a cadre of leaders in health policy and healthcare delivery systems, there will be year-long programs and activities to reflect the Fellowship's work in preparing physician leaders, supporting alumni work, and strengthening the alumni network.
Specialty and Interdisciplinary Conferences/Networking Opportunities
The Fellowship has identified alumni fellows in different specialties and across cohorts to present at respective specialty associations/organizations meetings and national conferences. Some examples of conferences include:
- The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) 2026 Policy & Issues Forum (P&I) - February 9-12, Washington, D.C.
- Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) 2026 Annual Meeting: May 18-21, Atlanta, Georgia

Celebration Day
The Celebration Day, the culmination of the 30th anniversary, is scheduled for May 2026 in conjunction with the Health Policy Annual Meeting. Healthcare experts/leaders, fellowship advisory committee members/contributors, alumni fellows, partners, and affinity groups across different sectors will come together to celebrate Fellowship achievements as well as to set future directions.
Publications
CFF is inviting alumni to submit proposals for scholarly articles to be considered for publication in a special collection in the Journal of General Internal Medicine (JGIM), a leading peer‑reviewed journal advancing health policy, clinical practice, and health services research. The deadline to submit is February 23, 2026.
