Biomedical Science Careers Program

The Biomedical Science Careers Program (BSCP) inspires members of every race, ethnic background, gender, and financial status to ask, “Why not me?". BSCP meets students where they are in their journey; provide a community to network and connect; and with encouragement, support, and guidance, help them achieve their potential in pursuit of biomedical science and other science-related careers.  Participants range from high school juniors to postdoctoral level and attend from all 50 states and many countries. 

New England Science Symposium

Established in 2002, NESS provides a forum for postdoctoral fellows; medical, dental and graduate students; post-baccalaureates; college and community college students from across the United States to share their biomedical and health-related research activities through oral or poster presentations, engage in discussions related to career development in the sciences, exchange ideas, and expand their professional networks.

Skills Workshop for College and High School Students

Held each fall, this program is designed for post-baccalaureates, college and community college students, and high school sophomores through seniors who are interested in science, medicine, and healthcare and are eager to take the next step in their academic and professional journeys. Co-sponsored by Harvard Medical School and BSCP, additional highlights include a student panel, a program for parents and caregivers, and an internship fair.
