Art@Countway Opening Reception: Do You See Me?

Please join Countway Library to celebrate the opening of "Do You See Me? Paintings of Postpartum Trauma and Healing" by physician-scientist and artist Dr. S. Abbas Shobeiri.

Presented through Countway's Art@Countway initiative in partnership with GlobalMentalHealth@Harvard, the exhibition uses fifteen large-scale paintings to illuminate postpartum trauma, maternal mental health, and the often-overlooked psychological challenges associated with new motherhood.

The opening reception will feature remarks by Dr. Shobeiri, a guided tour of the exhibition, and light refreshments.
