For more than five decades, Anne B. Young, MD, PhD, has been a pioneering neurologist, neuroscientist, and leader in academic medicine, serving for 21 years as Chief of Neurology Service at Massachusetts General Hospital and Julieanne Dorn Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Young’s research has focused on neurotransmitter systems in the basal ganglia of Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease brains. Her memoir was just published with Cambridge University Press.
