For more than six decades, Dr. Frederick H. Lovejoy, Jr. has been a leader in academic pediatrics, medical toxicology, and medical education. The William Berenberg Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Associate Physician-in-Chief and Deputy Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Lovejoy has shaped generations of patients and trainees through his clinical care, leadership, and mentorship. From founding the Massachusetts Poison Control System to directing the Boston Combined Residency Program, his work has helped transform pediatric care and training.
