Lefler Professor of Neurobiology, has been a visionary leader in academic medicine for over five decades, serving as Dean of Harvard Medical School from 1997 to 2007. From his pioneering research on neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, to his leadership shaping the institutions of UCSF and Harvard Medical School, Dr. Martin’s career has forged new paths in neuroscience, education, and scientific collaboration.
