What inspires or motivates you in your role at HMS/HSDM?
What inspires and motivates me is meeting people and interacting with them. I've been working at the Medical School for a little over 9 years. As a Customer Service Sales Attendant in the Atrium Café, I see medical students almost every day during their time here at HMS. I really enjoy watching them grow in order to achieve their full potential. For the two years they are on campus taking classes, I see them five days a week. They are our future doctors and it's great to see them grow.

What is the significance of the object you brought with you to the photo shoot?
The photo that I am holding is of my son. He is the most beautiful gift I have and he is my joy! At the same time, he can make me crazy. I see the medical students at HMS and feel the same way about them. I treat them like they are my kids. I talk with them, laugh with them, encourage them, yell at them when they do something wrong - like going to class late or not going to class or when they make a mess. The medical students never argue, something my three and a half year old son is still learning.
