What inspires or motivates you in your role at HMS/HSDM?
I love to share my passion for medicine, connect with inquisitive trainees, watch a learner master a new concept, and collaborate with colleagues to construct engaging activities. I enjoy feeling the accomplishment of seeing learners grow in knowledge, confidence and skills, and connect them with the patients that inspire me.

What unique skills and/or talents do you bring to your job?
I enjoy experimenting with new approaches to teaching and learning, measuring outcomes and learning from what's worked and what could work better.

What is the significance of the object you brought with you to the photo shoot?
I brought a rainbow flag to acknowledge that, despite my fears to the contrary, this is a place where I've been welcomed as an out gay person. In the 15 years I've been here, I've met and marries my husband, Joe, adopted our two amazing daughters, Aria and Emily, and connected with a wonderful community.
