What inspires or motivates you in your role at HMS/HSDM?
HMS has a long and rich history, and an inspiring and consequential mission to advance human health. t is also a diverse community of remarkable people and institutions. Working every day to support these people in pursuit of their goals, while seeking to strengthen the institution for the long term, is all the motivation I could ever need.

What are you most proud of about your work at HMS/HSDM?
From my vantage point as dean, I can see the whole picture of HMS, as few others can. This gives me the opportunity to identify and help to implement programs and activities that benefit the community in ways that may not have been anticipated. Getting this accomplished with fantastic colleagues on my team is a source of great pride.
